2021 Regatta Update

To all Crowther regatta entrants.

Just an update from the organisers.

Due to Covid restrictions we  are temporarily postponing this years Lock Crowther Memorial Regatta event .

Rather than cancel and with the support of the RMYC sailing division,we feel it appropriate to look for the first available weekend where restrictions allow the attendance of the majority of entrants.

The regatta current NOR allows for racing on the Friday ,Saturday and Sunday so we only need to look for an available weekend to be able to run the full program of racing.

I am sure like myself that you are all looking forward to some fun racing again. Our aim is to be quickly off the rank with a great regatta as soon as we can schedule .

It is likely that the social calendar may be modified.

The organizing committee will keep you posted.

If any questions please feel free to call me anytime.

2021 DBY Lock Crowther Multihull Regatta

LCMR Flyer 2021

Lock Crowther was regarded as a world class Australian pioneer of multihull yacht design.

We recognise his dedication to the development of the modern multihull and name this Regatta in his honour.

The Lock Crowther Regatta has been hosted by the RMYC since 1996 and offers multihull owners both exciting racing and cruising programs.

Once again the regatta will be held over the October long weekend on the beautiful waters of Pittwater and Broken Bay, NSW - starting with Passage race on Friday 1 October 2021 and 4 inshore races to be sailed over Saturday 2 October and Sunday 3 October 2021.

We are pleased to announce DBY Boat Sales has come onboard as the major sponsor of the 2021 event and we acknowledge and thank them warmly for their generous support.
