What is a SailPass?

“SailPass” will provide you with personal injury insurance cover through Australian Sailing for the day/s that you are registered. It offers a flexible, accessible and affordable introduction to sailing for people new to the sport and it is a way for people who aren’t already a Member of a sailing club to be eligible to sail in RMYC BB races in accordance with Rule 46 of the Racing Rules of Sailing 2021 – 2024.

Please note that if you are already an Australian Sailing Member through an affiliated Yacht Club, you do not need to register for a SailPass.

There are three options available to crew at the RMYC:

1. Day SailPass - If you do not crew regularly you can register for a SailPass every time you race at the RMYCBB. Your first three are free and each additional SailPass is $10.00. Click here to register
2. Bulk Series SailPass - For those keen to crew for a full series, but are not members of the RMYC BB. Click here to register
3. Regular Crew Members - Join the RMYC with the Crew Membership Special. Join as a Social Member and receive one year complimentary Sailing Division Membership and Australian Sailing Membership.
