Seafari to Shellharbour Marina

The 2024 Cruise to Shellharbour took place on the first weekend in March and after a few last minute drop offs, 12 boats undertook the voyage South. 

Friday night saw the group of 40pax head to the Waterfront Tavern for dinner and drinks, followed by lunch at Il Lago on Saturday and a cruisey Sunday.

On Sunday, some of the group visited the beautiful beach 'The Farm', whilst others enjoyed the other sites of Shellharbour, 18-holes at the Links Golf Club and the Shellharbour Airshow. 

The RMYC hosted an afternoon of drinks and BBQ dinner for the group on Sunday at the newly opened Shellharbour Marina Lounge.

It was a lovely weekend, enjoyed by all. The RMYC Seafari's are a great way to get to know other boat owner members, and to use your boats offshore in company.

The RMYC plan to visit Shellharbour Marina every second year, and encourage all to come and visit this state of the art facility. Les, Di, Jarvis, Ben and the team at Shellharbour Marina are very accommodating and love to have our members visit. We look forward to returning in March 2026.
