Christmas Lights on the Marina

The annual Christmas lights and dinner on the marina was a great success with 19 members attending and Kingfisher, Winifred , Sophie Wackles and Omrah providing the festive lights on the marina. The night kicked off with owners drinks, and everybody got into the theme with outfits, lights and lots of festive cheer.

After drinks we moved out onto the break-wall where Eleanor had outdone herself by creating areal Christmas experience, especially the hand made pockets for the napkins and cutlery. Dinner included Peter’s glazed ham, Bbq chicken and lots of yummy salads, and was followed by mince pies, fruit cake and chocolates.

Andrew donned the Santa suit and made sure that only the good ones received their presents, and festivities continued late into the evening, well past the other groups on the marina.

For those staying overnight on their boats, Pepi, Geoff and Justine whipped up some bacon and egg rolls, which was just what was needed.

Overall it was a great event and many thanks especially to Eleanor, Pepi, Geoff, Kathy and Andrew for their help in making it such a success.
